Nose

Your nose is responsible for helping your body smell things and breathe. As air enters the nose, specialized cells send the scent to the brain to be recognized and identified. While cleaning the air of foreign particles, the nose also carries the air to the sinuses and lungs supplying the body with oxygen or helping to expel carbon dioxide.

When the nose is not functioning properly, it can be difficult to breathe. There may also be nosebleeds or snoring. Problems with the nose are often a sign of another condition or disorder and should be diagnosed by a doctor. If you or someone you care for are having problems with the nose, please contact us at (805) 964-6926 to schedule an appointment.
